Albert Badal

Albert Badal is an Assyrian minority from Iran, bringing a deeply personal perspective to his storytelling. Having witnessed the lasting effects of revolution in his childhood and war through his father’s service on the front lines, he explores themes of resilience, culture, and belonging in his writing.

With a background in engineering, Albert has built a career as a consultant in the oil and gas industry while pursuing his passion for storytelling. Armen From Shiraz is his debut novel, a tribute to the unseen struggles of minorities, the echoes of history, and the moral weight of survival, where displacement and the choices that define us converge.
